This is a brief selection of typical project assignments that Jan Lanker has undertaken in recent years:
- Analysis of the training needs and revision of the Course Programme at the Outside Plant Wing of the
Telecommunications Training Centre in Nepal
.
- Establishment of a Telia office in the Netherlands. The office should offer the whole Telia package
of Voice-, Capacity-, Infrastructure- and IP-services. The assignment (6 months) included the
elaboration of a Business Plan as well as the preparation of an Entry Plan in order to establish the
business.
- Canal Zone Regional Control Centre (CANRCC) Project for the Egyptian Energy Agency; review of
detailed design of telecommunications plants, factory inspections and supervision of acceptance tests
and commissioning.
- Evaluation of Assets of TDM (Telecommunicações de Moçambique).
Build up of a unit for Technical Audit within TDM.
- Regulatory and overall engineering issues for DANIDA in Malawi; formulate a Pre-Programme
Package Support to the telecommunications sector.
- Evaluation of the Sida support to the telecommunications sector in Angola
